After spending a career in financial services operations, Suzie chose to pursue a second chapter—one that had been calling her all along: the art of baking.
Some of Suzie’s most treasured memories are learning to bake at home with her mother. It was there that scent, taste, and tradition marked every holiday and gathering. TootSweet Bake Shoppe began with that feeling: familiar bakes made thoughtfully with care, that bring people back to the faces and places they hold dear.
“Toot” is the term of endearment given to her by her mother when she was a little girl. And the cardinal is Suzie’s reminder that goals can be achieved with a little faith, and a lot of determination and perseverance.
THE CARDINAL’S MESSAGE
The cardinal is our guide when we need to declare our sense of self-worth and hear the message that we are valuable. Watch out for this bird’s red coat, a steadfast symbol of hope, encouragement, strength, and vitality.
The cardinal will not sit still but will instead push us forward, encouraging us to take risks and action in our lives. It reminds us that we should not wait for change but create it ourselves; that it is better to act than wait for a miracle.
